The Sovereign Hill Outdoor Museum welcomes you to an immersive experience from the Victorian Gold Rush. At Sovereign Hill you can pan for gold,  explore life on the goldfields alongside a cast of characters in authentic costumes from the era, and take in demonstrations of rare and forgotten trades like blacksmithing, wheelwrighting and confectionery making.  
 
We are open from 10am to 5pm to the general public 6 days a week, Tuesday to Sunday, and during Victorian school holidays 7 days a week.
